On Tuesday August 24th 12 group members 'took over' Dartmouth Castle during the Dartmouth Castle 'Attention Tuesday' English Heritage event. Part of their 'Make do and Mend' month.

Group members attended as Home Guardsman, Air Raid Wardens + US Army Press Corps. Having explained to over 700 visitors what it was like to 'man the guns' defending Dart Estuary and Harbour during WW2 visitors were surprised to see the wartime Prime Minister Winston Churchill (Dave Clarke) arrive with his ATS driver and proceed to inspect the guard of honour.
