Brixham Battery celebrated its 8th anniversary of the opening of its Heritage Museum. Good sunny weather helped bring in over 200 visitors who donated over 100 items of World War 2 memorabilia.
Live music by 'Jigger Smith' and exhibitions by group members Andy Youngs and Peter Bailey helped entertain some whilst other visitors enjoyed the guided tours of the 14 acre 400 year old battery site.
All our members are volunteers and as we have no other source of funding all donations were greatly received. It costs £2000 a year to run the museum which is open to the public free of charge.
Thanks to all those who supported the day.
